Sammy Montecastro is the President of The Mitchell Madison Group, Manila, Inc. a position he has held for the past 15 years. The Mitchell Madison Group, Manila, Inc. is a separate legal entity and provides contractual consulting services to various clients, including the Mitchell Madison Group, US.
Before MMG, he held various technology-related positions at several companies including an internet startup, a multinational bank, and a manufacturing startup. He was a pioneer in the wireless applications technology space and is co-inventor of a registered U.S. patent in the field of wireless technology.
While completing his undergraduate studies in electrical engineering, he taught robotics in high school, mentoring students to consecutive award-winning projects in international science competitions. He studied for his MBA at the Asian Institute of Management and was an MBA exchange student at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sammy is an avid auto mechanic, electronics hobbyist, and tool junkie. He is currently in the process of converting a 30-year old BMW into an electric vehicle and is trying in vain to figure out how his skills as a hard-core C/C++ programmer and Linux enthusiast can be used in the car.
